Agents and vendors combined to present total of 1305 head for the weekly sale. The temperature has dropped in the Southern Downs and whilst this is good for the tourists it bodes a lack of feed for the grazing fraternity. The yarding was smaller, lighter in condition and lacked the finish we have seen in previous weeks. Lambs topped at $229 to av $147.73($2 own), Hoggets topped at $160 to av $116.72 ($15 up ), Ewes topped at $90 to av $66.45($14 down), Wethers topped at $97 to av $53.06 9$51 down), Rams topped at $86 to av $70.44 ($4 down), Lamb rams topped at $150. The total yarding av was $115.58, which was $10/head down on last week’s sale.
