Jack frost gone for good?

Numbers were back for both of the main livestock sales this week. The rain may have influenced growers to hang on a bit longer as we move towards the new season (Jack Frost may still appear as we have seen it before). Cattle numbers saw 1251 head meet the firmer market on Tuesday, whilst Sheep and Lamb numbers peaked at 1747 on Wednesday to a market influenced by the lighter weighted stock presented.

Pork numbers were slightly up, again in the store sections and our Poultry vendors still keep the numbers coming.
