Spring touching the market

Agent’s and vendors have been yarding fairly consistent numbers for their weekly cattle and sheep and lamb sales. The spring touch has started with a few spring lambs coming into the markets as well as some good trade and export types in the cattle sector. The numbers have not been as bright in the pork story with the main numbers yarded falling to the feed on types. The markets have been fairly firm to a shade dearer across the board, with the heavier, finished ends returning good results for the vendors.
