Hitting a winner

Wallangarra State School’s softball team has taken out the School League competition, emerging victorious from a closely-fought battle with Dalveen in the final, played at Severnlea State School.
“It was a very intense and close game, but congratulations to our team who played really well,” Wallangarra principal Scott Koch said.
“All team members improved each week and their confidence grew, knowing that they could actually hit the ball, along with learning the tactics and strategy needed to win the game.”
Wallangarra will now move on to compete in soccer next school term.
