Australia’s triumph at Commonwealth Games

Australia ended the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham early this week leading the medal tally with 178 medals, including 67 gold, 57 silver, and 54 bronze medals.

It was closely followed by England (176 medalss), but Australia once again proved that it’s a sporting nation and stands out on its own on the world stage, performing particularly strongly in the swimming.
