Ballandean and United lead the way

It’s the pointy end of the season for Football Stanthorpe with the grand finals set to be played at CF White Oval on Saturday, starting from 9.30am.

Ballandean and United will be the best represented club’s in the finals with both having three teams through while Carlton and Inter will be represented in two each.

In the men’s Carlton take on Ballandean who earned their way into the finals with a one-nil win over City at the weekend. The game will the last one of the day, at 4pm.

At 2.15 United face Inter in the Ladies final. Inter earned their way into the grand final with a one-nil win over Ballandean in the elimination finals.

At 12.30pm Ballandean and United will face off in the Senior Colts. United stormed into the final with a 5-1 win over Inter in the elimination finals.

The Fillies match at 11am is between Inter and United. United had a tough road into the grand final beating Carlton 3-2 in a tight tussle.

The day begins with a Junior Colts game at 9.30am between Ballandean and Carlton. Carlton won their elimination final one-nil over Carlton to book their grand final spot.
