Dream Team had to work hard to defeat the Left-overs in Thursday’s Ford Supercamp Cup basketball action at Wirac.
The Dream team led by slim margins at the end of each quarter but held on to beat Left Overs by just five points, 43-38.
Sam Wall was at his mercurial best scoring 18pts for the winning team
The other game set down for 7pm saw Giddy Gang forfeit giving Panthers the points.
In the 6pm games Ex-Pats 53 defeated Desperadoes 49 with Tom Clift top-scoring with 24 points while RPC 52 beat Wickhams 39, topscorer was Nelson Loterie 17.
Tonight (September 12) will see the Week 9 -action.
At 6pm on court one, Ex-Pats will play RPC while on court two Desperadoes take on Dream Team. At 7pm Wickhams play Giddy Gang on court one while Panthers take The Overs on court two.
