Warwick Wolves junior season wrapped up on Saturday with grand final day and the club’s annual presentation and funday day at Queens Park in Warwick.
Club president Dom Benz said their were two grand finals held during the day as well a round robin for all of the other age groups.
“There were activities for every one to take part in, we have a blow-up pitch and a jumping castle,” he said.
“The police bring down a radar gun and stand behind a goal so the kids can line up and have shots at goal and they record who’s got the quickest kick in the club every year which is so cool.”
He said in the Under 12 grand final was between Normist and BJR Concrete was won 4-2 by BJR.
“It was a good game, they were two really good sides –and the winners were coached by senior Wolves players Matt Carey and Alex Dwan,” he said.
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that two of the sides coached by senior Wolves made the grand finals.
“The Premiers was fought-out by furniture zone and Saturn Electrical.”
