Southern Downs Rifle Club
On Sunday 15 December shooters were at the 500 yard range on a very hot and humid day with light wind variations and a mirage that was not consistent.
The scores for the Target Rifle (Iron Sight) Class out of a possible 105 were Jim Dickenson 102.11 and Chris Neave 99.4 – Jim Dickenson had a great second range.
The scores for F Class (Scope) out of a possible 126 were Murray Reck 119.2, Beth Caskey 118.11, Bob Tyllyer 114.3, Paul Findlay 111.3, Margaret Taylor 110.4, Paul Reid 109.2 and Dave Taylor 97.1. Murray Reck had a great day and Beth Caskey recovered well to complete a great second range.
Southern Downs Rifle Club will now have their Christmas break and will resume shooting on the 300 yard range on 5 January, 2014.
The management and members take this opportunity to wish all a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.
