Highway crashes

Warwick Police

TWO trucks have crashed at almost the same spot on the New England Highway at The Glen, just south of Warwick, in separate incidents.

There were no injuries and police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
Two days later a semi-trailer travelling north crashed when the driver allegedly lost concentration as he attempted to pick up an object in the truck’s cab.
As a result, the semi-trailer veered off the highway and rolled at about 2.35am.
The 21-year-old driver from Glen Innes was issued with a Notice to Appear in Warwick Magistrates’ Court for driving without due care and attention.
