Major cannabis raid

A RAID on a Forest Springs home last week has uncovered more than $192,000 in marijuana plants.
Warwick and Allora police seized 77 plants after conducting an early-morning search warrant on Friday.
A 24-year-old male will front Warwick Magistrates’ Court on 4 March charged with possession and production of cannabis.
Lane filtering for riders
MOTORBIKE riders will be able to lane filter and ride up between queued traffic with new laws taking effect on 1 February.
The changes aim to ease congestion and follows a review by the Department of Transport and Main Roads last year.
Learners and provisional riders are prohibited from lane filtering.
Cancer group hosts movie
THE Warwick Breast Cancer group will host a movie night on 12 February with a screening of the highly anticipated film, Fifty Shades of Grey.
Pre-movie wine and nibbles will begin at 6pm before the movie starts at 6.30pm.
Cost is $20 with funds going to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
