Meating and greeting

YOU really cannot beat good quality local service.
And there are few businesses that give better customer service than your local butcher.
That’s because your local butcher takes pride in what they sell, with products likely to come from just down the road.
While the big supermarket chains farm and sell their meat to a cost – trying to make the most bang for their buck – local butchers must earn a reputation from the quality of their meat.
If they’re not selling a quality product, a local butcher won’t be in business for too long.
So local butchers must source the freshest and tastiest meat on the market, selling the meat in a wide range of products.
Have you ever walked into a supermarket and felt bored by the products on display?
Have you ever wished there was something a little different and a little more exotic on offer?
Chances are, your local butcher will have what you’re after, and will greet you by your name with a friendly smile.
As the world expands, we’re losing a little bit of our sense of community.
In days gone by, you probably knew the person at the milk bar, or newsagency, or chemist, who served you.
You were likely to be welcomed into the store by your name and share a chat with the person behind the counter.
Few trades are keeping that spirit alive more than local butchers.
They always seem to be high in spirit and more than happy to oblige with any requests you may have.
It’s not just their high quality products that set them apart, but their impeccable customer service.
So why not support your local butcher?
Their prices are on par – and often cheaper – than the big supermarket chains, and the quality of their meat is often much better.
