A heavy horse day in Yangan has been resheduled to Sunday 18 October after wet weather forced the much-anticipated fund-raiser to be postponed this month.
Mick Bradford’s Heavy Horse Demonstration Day hosted at his Yangan property brings tourists from as far as Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, with all proceeds donated to RACQ Care Flight.
The day has helped raise more than $100,000 for charity over the past 14 years.
It features the fantastic working and static displays of horse-drawn equipment, blacksmithing, wheelwrighting, haymaking, chaffmaking and corn shelling, just to name a few.
The event will be held at 122 Swanfels Road, Yangan.
