Carpet business expands over years

By TANIA PHILLIPS

KEN O’Dea has been in the floorcovering business for more years than he cares to remember, starting as an apprentice carpet layer when he was 16 years old.
Then in 2009, he and his wife Ann, opened up a retail shop in Grafton Street, calling it Ken O’Dea Floorcoverings.
Business was good, so it wasn’t long before they needed a larger premises and showroom so the shop was relocated to 18 Betta Court, and a few months ago to 16 Betta Court.
This is the last move, Ken has assured.
Many new lines have been added over the years, such as the very popular vinyl planking, and the product range now includes blinds and shutters.
If you need any help with an area of your home, Ken O’Dea Floorcoverings offers advice on colour co-ordination.
Call in and see Ken about all your floorcovering needs soon.
