Crash man faces court

A 39-YEAR-OLD man from Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast will face Warwick Magistrates’ Court on 4 May following an accident on Wednesday 13 April.
The Gold Coast man was issued with a notice to appear for driving without due care and attention.
It is alleged that the man was driving on the Cunningham Highway, Maryvale, when he drove into the rear of the front of him that was attempting to turn into a driveway.
A female passenger in that vehicle was injured and conveyed by QAS to the Warwick Base Hospital.
This crash is the third to occur on the Cunningham Highway between Maryvale and Tregony since Sunday.
Police are urging motorists to take care when on the roads and be mindful of the Fatal Five – speeding, distraction and inattention, drink and drug driving, fatigue, and seat belts.
