Time for winter makeover

The month of June on the Southern Downs means just one thing: winter has arrived. But that doesn’t mean you have to hibernate under your blankets.

In fact, Hayley Kirby says it’s the perfect time of year to give your home its own winter warmers, with floor and window treatments to keep out the cold.

Hayley and her husband Gary are the owners of Andersens Stanthorpe. They have been running the business since January 2021.

“We’ve been extremely busy – as is any trade at the moment,” she said.

But they’re well prepared for the winter rush. The big chill is a great time to explore Andersens’ wide selection of flooring and window coverings that can be given some expert mix-and-match treatment to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Once everything is perfect, you won’t want to leave home to brave the cold!

“If you’re thinking of a winter installation, now is the time to come in-store and have a chat with our team about the various options,“ Hayley said.

“We have a range of flooring products from cosy carpets to durable planks to energy-efficient hybrids. We also offer a variety of window coverings such as thermal curtains and blinds to keep out the cold.“

Hayley and Gary’s Stanthorpe-based Andersens store is conveniently located at 108 Folkestone Street, right in the heart of town. (It’s pretty hard to miss, as it’s painted green! The entry is at Hilton Street.) Customers can visit and explore the range of winter-inspired flooring and window solutions to transform their homes into delightful and heartwarming winter retreats.

As the winter season settles in, Hayley and Gary are ready to help customers make their homes warm and inviting. Come in soon.
