Geitz receives Sporting Ambassador of the Year

Queensland Firebirds vice-captain Laura Geitz was recently presented with her Sporting Ambassador of the Year award.
The Lions Club of Warwick Inc had the pleasure of nominating Geitz, along with Tamara Stewart, for the Warwick National Youth Week Awards held recently.
Geitz was unable to attend the recent presentation night due to netball commitments in New Zealand and was therefore presented with her award after she held her recent clinic in Warwick.
Lions Club of Warwick Inc president Con Lo Giudice made the presentation to the Firebirds star on behalf of his club, presenting a gift voucher, along with the nomination and winner certificate.
