Warwick Christian College’s 50 students served up a morning of delicious food and useful information for the Warwick community at their annual Great Australian Bite recently.
A fundraiser for Diabetes Australia, the morning tea is part of a number of community fundraisers that the college participates in throughout the year.
“We really want our students to understand that they are never too young to be able to help,” teacher in charge Moira Coates said.
Guests enjoyed a great spread of food, and participated in quizzes, with prizes of a healthy cookbook and Diabetic Living magazine awarded to two lucky attendees.
A total of $215 was raised, which will be donated to Diabetes Australia.
