Every Thursday morning, Jennings Public School erupts with eager young faces as the Transition to Kindergarten program begins.
Preschool students engage in sessions where they learn valuable social and academic skills, which will help to prepare them for kindergarten next year.
So far, students have enjoyed sharing big books, singing songs and have made little red hen hand puppets, fancy necklaces, rainbow fish and paper plate frogs.
Children learn in a fun environment and meet new friends in the process.
If you know a child who is turning five before July 31, 2012 and is interested in participating in the Jennings Public School Transition to Kindergarten Program, please contact the school office on (07) 4684 3273.
