Southern Downs Regional Mayor Ron Bellingham paid tribute to the organisers and volunteers that made this year’s Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival another success.
“In particular, Karina Devine (Warwick Art Gallery director and festival artistic director) and Tracy Vellacott (Warwick Tourism & Events chief executive officer and festival musical director), their partnership with the volunteers, I think, made this community proud,” Cr Bellingham said.
“That’s just an incredible event. There were a huge number of visitors but that’s not the core purpose of this event, it’s a celebration of our community and a celebration of our four seasons,” he said.
