Seven Toowoomba confirmed last week that Better Homes and Gardens celebrity chef Ed Halmagyi, also known as Fast Ed, will be appearing at the 2012 Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival on Saturday, March 3.
The Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival is Australia’s premier harvest festival and is an iconic Queensland event and will be held next year from Friday, March 2, to Sunday, March  4.
This free entry event (except for the Gala Ball) is held every two years and offers a host of activities for all the family.
Fast Ed will be at the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival to provide expert tips on cooking quick, easy and delicious meals on a barbecue.
He will appear in the Channel Seven marquee in Weeroona Park for cook book signing and photographs on Saturday, March 3, at 9.30am and 11am with a one-hour cooking demonstration at 10am.
Join Ed in the Multicultural Entertainment Extravaganza in Weeroona Park and enjoy music, good food, Granite Belt wines and fun events.
Fast Ed will also be a part of the Channel Seven Grand Parade on the same day in a 1915 Model T Ford Vintage car starting at 2pm and he will also be crushing Granite Belt grapes in the Grape Crush.
Seven Network is delighted to sponsor the 2012 Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival and Fast Ed will provide first class entertainment and great cooking using Granite Belt produce.
Southern Free Times is also a proud sponsor of the festival and will be bringing you all the news on this event next year.
