Fatal crash near Warwick

The Cunningham Highway north of Warwick was closed for a period of time last week following a fatal two-vehicle crash in which a man in his 70s died.
About 2.10pm Wednesday, the man was driving a hatchback sedan south along the highway when he collided with a van travelling north.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the two occupants of the van were taken to Warwick Base Hospital with minor injuries.
Following the crash, the highway was closed for a period of time between Warwick and the Eight Mile Intersection to the north.
