Killarney showcased on TV

Mystical Killarney featured on popular Channel 7 television show The Great South East on Saturday.
The segment, shot in October 2011, offers a panorama of Killarney tourist spots Teviot Falls, the Moss Gardens and Queen Mary Falls.
Cambanoora Tours’ Louise Brosnan takes the intrepid crew to visit Teviot Falls and is then joined by Greg Turkington and Mark Reed at majestic Queen Mary Falls.
Southern Downs Mayor Ron Bellingham, a former Killarney resident, also offered an insight into the Killarney Tornado, which rocked the community in November 1968.
The small Queensland town was hit by what locals refer to as ‘the blow’, with one person killed and 200 of the 247 houses destroyed.
