Stanthorpe shines for the weekend

Matt Hibberd is interviewed by Channel 7’s Queensland Weekender.

Stanthorpe shone brightly into spring as Channel 7’s Queensland Weekender televised stories filmed on the granite belt over the past few weeks showcasing local attractions and activities.
From wildflower walks and cycling groups through to wine tasting and jazz, information on the region’s diverse offerings have been beamed into lounge rooms every Saturday afternoon.
This weekend’s episode features unique local attraction Lawdogs Australia’s ‘a dog show with bite’ including interviews by Jillian Whiting behind the scenes with staff at the kennels and some new puppy recruits.
“This sort of coverage is fantastic for the region, especially in the lead-up to school holidays when we are open for shows daily and the warmer spring weather makes Stanthorpe a great destination for both couples and families,” Lawdogs Australia owner Matt Hibberd said.
“The diversity on offer means families have unique and fun things to do as well as plenty of wine tasting for mum and dad later in the day.”
The latest episode of Queensland Weekender goes to air this Saturday at 5.30pm on Channel 7.
