A WARWICK man in his fifties came off his motorcycle at “considerable speed” while racing at Morgan Park Raceway on Thursday (2 May).
The man required urgent transport by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter, after he sustained a head injury and an elbow injury in the incident.
RACQ CareFlight aircrewman, Richard Mitchell, said the man was racing in a time trial when he came off his bike.
“The patient was in the middle of a race and crashed at considerable speed,” he said.
“We airlifted him from Warwick Hospital to the PA Hospital just after 3pm for further treatment.
