Warwick Safe Haven fundraiser

The Warwick community is invited to a Golf Charity Day at Warwick Golf Club on Sunday, April 10.
Proceeds will help support the Warwick Safe Haven – a place of respite for women and children escaping domestic and family violence from across the State.
“Safe Haven is totally dependent on community funds,” Management Com-mittee representative Bette Bonney said.  “It has been very much appreciated by those who have needed to use it over the past months, and the golf day is a fun way for the community to keep it operating.”
The day starts at 10am with a free sausage sizzle, then a shotgun start at 11.30am for 4 ball Ambrose.
“You don’t have to be a good player as the Ambrose game allows a greater chance for every team to stay in the competition. There are major quality prizes on offer, along with multi draw raffles,” Ms Bonney said.
To register, phone the Golf Pro Shop on 4661 3664. Sponsorships and donations are also welcome. For further details contact Bette Bonney on 0429 432 510.
