Renowned performers in Warwick

The world renowned a capella vocal group, The Australian Voices, is bringing their CHORAL CLASSIC performance to St Mark’s Anglican Church, Warwick on Friday, November 18, at 6pm.
Audiences will be treated to the sublime sounds of The Australian Voices Octet singing beautiful choral classics from Mozart and Tchaikovsky, to Bruckner and Stravinsky.
Utilising church acoustics, the singers will weave a beautiful aural tapestry of choral classics including Ave Maria and recent Australian works.
Artistic director and conductor Gordon Hamilton, who has received several international awards for his compositions, is seeking local choir members of any age or ability to join them on stage for the performance.
“We are so delighted to be bringing CHORAL CLASSICS to audiences across regional Southern Queensland and hope that some local singers will register and perform with the TAV singers,” Mr Hamilton said.
To register, choir members are asked to go to The Australian Voices singer’s registration section on their website. The concert in Warwick is one of three concerts for the region, with the others in Toowoomba and Dalby.
Over the past 18 years, The Australian Voices has toured annually, performing to audiences around the world.
The mission of The Australian Voices is to commission, perform, record and promote the music of Australian composers.
The ensemble has performed more than 500 concerts of new Australian music to more than 250,000 live audience members in over 20 countries.
