Tickets on sale for saleyard celebrations

Tickets for the Warwick Saleyards 50th Anniversary Luncheon are now on sale and can be purchased over the counter at Council’s Warwick office.
Credit card payments by phone (4661 0300) will also be accepted. The cost is $30 per person.
The Saleyards was officially opened on Tuesday, November 13, 1962 by the then Mayor for Warwick, Ald E J Portley.
The celebratory luncheon will be held on November 17 at Kings Theatre in Warwick.
Entertainment will be provided by Marco Gliori, renowned entertainer and one of Australia’s premier performers of bush verse.
“This is a great way for all those who have been involved in the Warwick Saleyards over the past 50 years to catch up and reminisce on the Saleyards’ rich history,” said Cr Jo McNally, Chair of the Corporate Services Committee.
If you would like to be a part of these celebrations, be sure to purchase your tickets early. For more information, please contact Mrs Yolande Alley, Communications Officer on 4661 0305.
