At the end of 2009, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono stated Indonesia was a stable democracy with a healthy economy (third fastest growing in Asia!).
Indonesia’s “black gold” (thermal coal) exports alone then earnt 16 billion dollars! So can someone please explain why Australian taxpayers are still paying millions in aid for climate change projects (planting trees) and Muslim schools in Indonesia, when so many of our countrymen are suffering so much in the aftermath of floods, cyclones and bushfires?
It is time to halt foreign aid in order to help our fellow Australians in every way we can! (preferably not with a new levy/tax).
