A resounding applause for the Iona Passion Play

Easter reservations, the Iona Passion Play, a powerful production presented here in Stanthorpe, depicting the Greatest Story Ever Told, heralded a resounding applause!
Bringing together many faiths for the presentation, it would seem reminiscent of the Biblical record in Acts 2:1. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all in one accord in one place.”
After the Friday evening’s performance, further adding to the pleasure – on a radio Easter Talk Back, a caller’s glowing account of the sheer joy which Easter reservations brought to her day; then, add to that, the presenter’s absolute enthusiasm and thanksgiving …..the Easter commemoration was gaining momentum!
The blessed assurance and fulfilling purpose of Easter’s attributes in the Iona Passion Play was far more spectacular than what an ‘Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it’, could possibly exhibit! Wow!
Availing the grace of acknow-ledgement’s renewals, the Iona Passion Play’s synopsis reflection, highlighted the value of faith’s uplifting and enduring path.
“Let us sing of Easter gladness That rejoices every day,”….so begins a Christian Science hymn of mine, perhaps, well worth sharing? … It continues,
“Sing of hope and faith uplifted,
Love has rolled the stone away.”…………….. it concludes,
“Freed of fear, of pain, and sorrow,
Giving God the honour due,
Every day will be an Easter
Filled with benedictions new.”
