False job promises

During the last state election campaign, Anna Bligh promised Queenslanders, with the use of some dubious political spin, that Labor’s policies would create 100,000 new jobs. The reality is that the actual number is well short of this figure. When Treasurer Andrew Fraser delivered his latest budget, a figure of 140,000 new jobs was mentioned. He expects this because of a boom in the mining sector. Andrew Fraser is again using some dubious political spin to make false promises. Bligh and Fraser must think the people of Queensland are donkeys to believe them. I would say Bligh and Fraser are the donkeys, not Queenslanders.
