Truth is eternal

May I correct a statement in the letters column of the Southern Free Times, June 30, where it was claimed that the Protestants have only been around for a few hundred years. Then pray tell who were those millions that were massacred over the last 200 years by Roman Catholic agents when they protested against papal doctrines?
Today we have an unholy union of the so-called protestants with the papacy and all the other world abominations to exterminate all those who dare to read their Bibles for guidance into truth instead of popes, presidents and assorted dictators.
They may kill many of us, but truth is eternal and cannot be killed, it will triumph gloriously. The Prince of Peace will end the conflict. As predicted: John 16:2: “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service”.

Charles Gaitskell, Stanthorpe
