After all the hard fought campaigns to get tertiary qualified staff into child-care centres to educate our pre-schoolers does Tony Abbot really think that the Australian electorate is going to accept more middle and upper class welfare by paying largely unqualified nannies to do the shopping and cleaning and, “oh while you’re about, it mind my kids”. I sincerely hope not!
