Premier Campbell has sacked his police minister for an unpaid traffic fine and consequently getting caught driving without a license.
We have not been told the exact circumstances how it came about that the fine wasn’t paid.
Most Queenslanders would know that with all the surveillance on the roads it is easy to fall foul of traffic cameras and radar.
Perhaps the police minister didn’t receive, for some reason, the ticket in the mail.
The Premier has set high standards for his ministers. He better be careful and walk on egg shells himself else he too fall foul of the system. Will the premier resign if he is found to have slipped up over some minor infraction?
