Mr Pickering wrote (Free Times 26th July) about his inability to get a valid duty statement for/or from Australian parliamentarians.
But regarding politicians Duty Statements, it seems that Gilbert and Sullivan got it right with, “I always voted at my party’s call and never thought of thinking for myself at all.”
