Flights of fancy

Whoever said that monster trawler with 600 metre nets was brought here to fish our coastal seas as implied by the storm in a teacup raging in Parliament at the moment with potential to become another MESS for Tony Bourke and Bill Ludwig to complete, like all their other projects?
The mere fanciful notion that the skipper of such upmarket technology would dare unroll nets into the graveyard of scuttled vessels and other wrecks in our waters is preposterous. Would they prefer it worked off the continental shelf of the Tasman and discharged their export catch into NZ?
An alternative which may seize the airheads is ‘EDUCATION’ of ‘our’ fish to keep within our waters and the deepwater fish not to be frightened into crossing the Great Divide?
