Biodynamic farming

I take my hat off to Shane and Shan Joyce of Duke’s Plain, Theodore, for having the foresight to switch from the European style of running a grazing establishment in Australia, to the more sensible and sustainable Biodynamic method. Blind Freddy can now see, just by looking at their property, that following the European methods of farming is disastrous for Australian agriculture! They’re probably just as disastrous in Europe too, but they have mineral rich soils and it will take them longer to deplete theirs than Australia’s already mineral depleted soils.
I would suggest that if they are any relation of Barnaby’s, he should spend some time with them and learn a thing or two. That way next time he opens his mouth something sensible might come out of it!
