By deceit and flattery

The minister of Local Government has rejected the wishes of the Stanthorpe people to have their old council back on the grounds that it would not be viable without subsidies.
If we apply that argument to all religions, all clergy, all governments, all politicians and their democrats, they should all be abolished because they are unviable without sucking the blood out of the useful members of society. As Stalin said, “Accuse your opponents of the crimes you are doing.” By deceit and flattery they destroy many.
