Workshops for local businesses

The Stanthorpe Chamber of Commerce, supported by Queensland Government and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, is proud to present the “Small Business Evolution Series”.

This series comprises workshops aimed at assisting local businesses to navigate the minefield that is business operations in this new digital age.

Between March and July this year, the Chamber will host six different workshops;

April: Cybersecurity and introductory computer skills, presented by Tracy Sheen: The Digital Guide.

May: Business Budgeting – Do you know your overheads, wages and how much you need to make to cover these?

June: Navigating the Social Media Landscape, presented by Tracy Sheen: The Digital Guide.

June: Elevate your Social Media Game, presented by Tracy Sheen: The Digital Guide.

July: Small Business Start-up – What are the Pitfalls?

The first workshop in March – What Grants are available for your business and what information do you need to have ready, was a smashing success. The participants received some excellent resources on available grants, and key information to always have on-hand to make lodging a grant application a breeze.

The Chamber believes the workshops are a great opportunity to increase your knowledge base, and to connect with people who are seeking to stay current with the latest business trends.

Attendance is completely free for all current Stanthorpe Chamber of Commerce Members. For non members, each workshop is $20.00 per person. All bookings can be made through Stanthorpe Tickets by searching for event “Cybersecurity” or by visiting stanthorpetickets.com.au/event/17949. Workshops include tea, coffee and a light meal.
