’Cute and cuddlies’

Melville’s Pioneer Farm has been entertaining patrons for the past 30 years, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to attend your event!

We are very different from other animal farms as we excel in our presentation, theming and uniqueness of animals on display.

Area 1- These are the “Cute and Cuddlies” that everyone looks forward to! This area is specially designed to allow for up close personal contact with the animals, patrons are treated to a hands-on experience. A variety of Small Ducklings, Baby Chicks, Guinea Pigs, Baby Lambs, Kid Goats, Piglets, and other baby animals delight visitors. (Subject to season availability)

Area 2 – “Large and Unique Animals” Super friendly farmyard favourites such as Miniature donkey, Sheep, Goats, and Miniature Cow, Llamas and Pony look to be greeted and patted by children and adults. Specially designed fencing allows interaction to be enjoyed safely, so visitors get to observe the antics and characters of the animals in play.

Melvilles Duck Racing:

Welcome to the world of laughs and funny antics of the only professional duck racing exhibition in Australia!

Appearing at the shows and events throughout Qld exceeding expectations.

Melville’s together with media outlets promote the stars of the track.

This event is fun and exciting encouraging whole audiences to participate with loud cheering as they barrack for their super ducks “Ducky Chan”, “Quack Efron” and “Duck Norris” to cross the finish line.

Ruthy’s Runners require an area approximately 14 metres long by 9 metres wide for track and allowance room for the audience to oversee. Alternatively, the track can be altered to fit a smaller area if required. (Just reduces a duck’s good “run up” speed!)

Watch the amazement of the crowd as these keen athletes, rearing to go, push the gate, navigate through obstacles, see these determined ducks really speed around the track!

Also included in cost are Melvilles ever so popular Bar Stool! Patrons can meet and greet our Animal Stars up close and personal as it carefully winds throughout crowds, such a delight to onlookers!
