Southern Downs Regional Council advises that works will be undertaken on Sunday, October 14, to remove the last of the Crazy Paving in Palmerin Street.
“These works will enable the area bounded by King Street and Percy Street to have the same look as the rest of the Streetscape,” advised Mr Peter See, Director Engineering Services.
“Ongoing trip hazard issues as a result of the paving becoming uneven will also be removed,” he added.
This work will occur on one side of the street at a time, to minimise disruption to traffic. Traffic control measures will be in place during these works and residents are asked to obey all traffic signage. All works are subject to weather conditions and change without notice.
Council apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause.
