Look through garden gates

The sounds of flowing water creates a calming environment.

Providing solace from the bustling crowds of the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival were the nine gardens that opened their gates for viewing.

Seven floral/ home gardens and two organic edible gardens were on offer for locals and visitors alike to relish in the growers of the Granite Belt.

Two out of the nine are pictured here, one lovely cottage built 120 years ago opened its gates for the first time in 20 years and the assortment of flowers is to die for. The other is Braeside, the luxury accommodation destination sitting on 12 acres with gardens that have been developed over a 10-year period.

Time got away in these gardens and photos of all nine were not possible, but this serves as an invitation for attendees to anticipate the hidden treasures awaiting discovery at the next festival.
