What’s on for Zonta

The last event for 2023 for Zonta was supporting the “Ride Against DV” Monster Garage Sale organised by Gary Fawcett and Leanne Buck held on 3 December. Proceeds from the event were distributed locally to Granite Belt Neighbourhood Centre to support those affected by domestic and family violence.

After a welcomed break over Christmas after a busy end of year, Zonta Stanthorpe members gathered for a very productive January meeting combined with lunch and social gathering with partners last Saturday, hosted by Lynne and Chris Nolan at Granite Gardens.

Our February calendar is filling up quickly with members supporting several events.

Zonta Stanthorpe are selling grazing boxes for the Apple & Grape Bubbles and Brushes event on Thursday 29th February. Boxes are $25each and can be purchased online with tickets and proceeds will be directed locally to support women and children affected by domestic violence. appleandgrape.org/tickets/

Other service projects for Feb are a birthing kit and essential items pack assembly afternoon and meals on wheels.

Zonta Stanthorpe’s annual IWD Yellow Dinner will be held on Friday 8th March at QCWT.

Tickets are $75p/p including complimentary bubbles and canapes on arrival and a 2 course alternate drop meal. Gather your friends, pop on something yellow and enjoy a great night out celebrating IWD and raise funds for ZI projects to help build a better world for women and girls around the world.
