Adventure awaits with Rory H Mather

This winter school holidays, acclaimed picture book author Rory H. Mather is set to bring warmth and wonder to the Southern Downs Regional Libraries with a series of enchanting storytelling sessions.

Parents and children are invited to join Rory as he takes them on magical journeys through his captivating children’s books.

From tales of a little vampire with bad breath to a lion king who struggles to find his voice, Rory’s whimsical characters promise to delight audiences of all ages.

Known for his playful and engaging style, Rory describes himself as a “big kid with a beard“ and will bring his stories to life with the same imagination and inspiration that fuelled their creation.

On Wednesday 26 June, Rory will begin his journey at Allora Library at 9am then to Warwick Library at 10.30 before finishing at Stanthorpe Civic Centre at 2pm.
