Pleasing on the day that a good field turned out for the day, almost got to the 60 mark. Saturday is the David Townsend Memorial day and the event is a 4BBB stableford. David was a keen golfer and an avid sports person involved in many sports. He was also responsible for getting mid-week golf competition on the go at Stanthorpe. A good chance for all to stop at the 5/14 tee area and think of David – have a seat in his shack for a few minutes. Tee off time is a shot gun start at noon and the time sheet is available on line.
