McDonald’s receives major upgrade

McDonald’s Warwick is being upgraded as part of a $900,000 two-stage redevelopment.
Stage one of the redevelopment will see an extra lane added to the drive thru. McDonald’s Warwick licensee Trevor Burton thanked customers for their patience during the works.
“This is an exciting time for us,” Mr Burton said.
“We have listened to feedback from the community and we are expanding the drive thru to help reduce the length of waiting time for customers,” he said.
“To achieve this, the drive thru will be closed for construction until Friday, May 4. We ask all customers to be patient during the closure and utilise the car parking facilities available.
“The drive thru will reopen for normal business on Saturday, May 5, and the new second lane will open on Monday, May 14.”
Mr Burton said the next stage of the expansion would include better outdoor facilities for families.
“Stage two will comprise a complete reconstruction of the outdoor dining area and playland, creating a vibrant new outdoor area to enjoy,” he said.
“The final works are scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2012.”
Normal in-restaurant trading will not be impacted as part of these works.
