I read with interest (and hope) the article regarding the possibility of Barnaby Joyce seeking pre-selection for the seat of Maranoa (SFT 1-3-12).
What a breath of fresh air this would be for the electorate as Mr Joyce is a proven performer, unlike Mr Scott who is far too complacent, knowing that he does not have to perform to hold his extremely safe seat. All parties should get rid of their deadwood on a regular basis and endeavour to choose the best people to actually represent their constituents.
