Holy cow!

Stanthorpe State School students have been getting into the spirit of the 2012 Australian Year of the Farmer, joining the herd of artists seeking to decorate special cut-out cows as part of a planned nation wide display!
Inspired by our primary producers and designed to promote our proud region on a national scale, the Australian Farmer of the Year Cow Art is developing into a massive event, with a display of ‘cow art’ planned to be on show in Toowoomba in early October.
With over 1200 cut-out cows having been distributed around the country to various people and organisations, including schools, aged care facilities and land care groups, we are delighted to be part of such a positive event and look forward to seeing our cows amongst a half acre of art display in the very near future!
